I have 62 Snyders in my lines. Have been unable to tie many of them
together, mostly because I have a lot of John, Jacob, Henry and Mary's and
it has been difficult to sort them all out.
One that might be useful for you to pursue is Jacob Snyder who died abt
1839. His wife Mary had died prior to him, but I don't have a date. He had
11 children:
Charles, George, Henry who died bef 1839, Jacob, John, Lawrence, Mary Ann,
William, Martha b abt 1792 md Peter Sinclair, Benjamin b 10 Apr 1793, d 20
Mar 1866 md Rebecca and Massy b abt 1801, d 24 Apr 1820.

I have a copy of the description of the division of his land, but have been
unable to pinpoint on a map where exactly this land is. If you'd like that
info, please say so, I'd be happy to share it.

The earliest Snyder I have is Henry Schneider who immigrated from the
country of Holland according to a family paper that I have. He had a dtr
Mary b 1757 who md Peter Sinclair. I've had difficulting finding
documentation on this Henry Schneider, but have plenty of other Henry's.

I'd love to work with other Hunterdon County Snyder researchers to try and
make sense of it all. Unfortunately, I don't have any James or Francis.
