For those of us who have German ancestors who arrived in Philadelphia
between 1727 and 1775, probably the best source to check is "Pennsylvania
German Pioneers" by Strassburger & Hinke.
I have the books and can do a look-up. I'm sometimes slow in responding,
especially with the holidays, but I should be able to respond to most
queries within a week.
