List,
I have been searching the Archives of your list and came across some
info that I need clarification on.
Searching the database for 2000 with a query for Rice, I come across
marriage records for St. Thomas, Hunterdon, N.J. and St Andrews ,
Mosonetcong, N.J.
What does that heading mean? St. Thomas with two different locations?
What denomination was / is St. Thomas?
I found a James Rice marrying Esther Smith of Mansfield Woodhouse,
Published.
Just what is Mansfield Woodhouse, and what does the designation
"Published" indicate?
I need to find who the parents were for the above James Rice.

ALSO
Would it have been fairly easy to travel across the Delaware River
from Buckingham, Bucks Co. PA to Hunterdon Co., N.J. back in the late
1700's?
Does anyone know if the RICE surname was a name among the early settlers
of Hunterdon Co., N.J.?
Thanks for your time,
Bob Rice of Lancaster Co., PA.
