Linda,

I don't know of BREWERs in Hunterdon County, but there were some in
Gloucester County, NJ - which is right across the River from Philadelphia. A
quick clance at the Gloucester County Marriages book by H. Stanley Craig
shows:

David H. Brewer & Mrs. Mary Sooy, 8-23-1834
Edmund Brewer & Diadema Cheesman, 1-12-1799
Edmund Brewer and Elizabeth Perce, 2-18-1836
Robert Brewer & Sarah Franklin, 11-18-1862

When I get the chance, I will check other Southern NJ marriage books that I
own.
