My Sherman's are as follows:
Edward SHERMAN born abt 1724, d abt 1809 in Kingwood. His daughter Elizabeth
born abt 1753 d abt 6/24/1827 married George FOX who was born abt 1751 d abt
9/1/1813. The birth and death information came from the headstones which were
hard to read. They are buried in Rosemont Burial Grounds. Their daughter mary
11/1/1783-5/21/1828 married John BURKET 2/23/1773-11/26/1859. They are both
also buried in Rosemont. I found the link to Edward while visiting the HCHS
last week. There is a copy of the Descendants of Edward Sherman of Hunterdon
County, NJ researched by Larry Rush there. I have copies of some of the
material which includes his other children .
I also have a John M FISHER who married an Emma Sherman who was from Delaware
Twp. who I know nothing further about.
The BELLIS in my line is Mary. She was b. 1723 and d. 1772, she married Johann
Peter Rockenfeller in 1740. I do not know of her ancestors. Their daughter Mary
married Adam BELLIS who was the son of Johan Adam BOLLESFELDT and Anna Catrina
CALSTAN. Johan Adam's parents were Andreas BOLLESFELDT and Marie SCHNUCK. This
information is from various web sites and I have not verified any of it.
