Hi All,
I read about the Snyders and wanted to tell you all that there are a
bunch of
Snyders buried at Sandy Ridge. My grandmother (Viola Kitchin Moore) had
a
sister Alena Kitchin who married a Peter Snyder. He evidently owned a
hotel in
Lambertville. He died unexpectedly and young and she took her four
daughters to
live at Mooseheart Indiana and raised them there. I believe that Peter
is
buried at Sandy Ridge as I know that Aunt Alena is there. One of their
daughters
married William Grant of Philadelphia and they are both buried there
also. My
grandmother was born 1895 and her sister was older - can't remember the
year
without looking it up. I've been unable to find out the name of the
hotel or
any other info on Uncle Peter. All the folks who knew him are gone.
