Butler's Park is on the border of Northern Hunterdon County and Warren
County, near Lebanon Township. I read an article about it in the Hunterdon
County Democrat a few years ago. It was a small amusement park and also
gathering place for reunions, etc. I don't remember exactly when it closed
down, but it was still operating in some capacity at least through the 40's.
If you go to Expedia.com for Asbury--zip code 08802 and pan northeast and
you will get to a map that you can make larger which shows the location of
Butler Park. Pan northeast. It is south east of Washington, NJ bordering on
the Musconetcong River in Warren County. Water Road/Anderson Blvd. is also
known as Asbury Anderson Road and cuts across Route 31 just south of
Washington, NJ by the new A & P/McDonalds shopping center. Make a right at
this intersection. Butler Park Road is off this road about 2 miles north.
