Interesting families here: "A History of East Amwell" page 137, in a bio of
Lewis Chamberlain born 1710 and died 1772, makes mention that one of his
siblings Rebecca Chamberlain born 19 Nov 1743, married James Slack.

James P. Snell's "Histories of Hunterdon and Somerset Counties" page 367, in
a bio of James Slack Fisher, mentions his father William Fisher, who married
2 Aug 1794, Lucretia Slack, daughter of James and Rebecca (Chamberlain)
Slack, who was born 12 Oct 1771.

There is much history attached to the Chamberlain and Fisher families of
Amwell. If Henry Slack is a descendant of James Slack, perhaps he can be
found in research of these families.

The Snell book has 38 SLACK people in the index, but no Henry.
