Try Marytje, Marrytie, etc., the Dutch variant spellings for Mary started
with "Mar....", the endings differed. They also used Maria.
And Polly is a very common diminutive for Mary.
I don't know if this means anything, but with my german lines, whenever a
female was christened as Maria (or whatever) as the first name (baptismal
name), they were called by and used the second given name. So that a Maria
Magdelena in christening records was Magdelena in all the other records of
her life.
