Subject: [NJHUNTER] Need Help w/ Old Headstone (Everittstown)

The following headstone inscription is taken from the Everittstown
United Methodist Churchyard in Alexandria Township. As far as I know,
it is the oldest (and now the cleanest!) headstone there, embedded in
the ground. I believe it is written in German, and I was wondering if
someone could transcribe.

The inscription is as follows:

DESENT . S
EELTEN . C
ORPER . CA
THRINA . SC
HLAUTN
G . J. D. 19T
MERZ 1762
