Greetings!

The following is from a photocopy of a page from "Marriage Records of Hunterdon County
New Jersey 1795-1875, by Hiram E. Deats."

"Conner, Samuel and Clarasa S. Hann, Mar. 14, 1866, 4-8 (Van Slyke)."


Would I be correct to *assume* that the "4-8" is a volume and page number?
If so, would the Hunterdon County Clerk and/or the State Archives have more
information on this marriage?
