My father was in the sixth Marine Division during WWII. He was in Okinawa as
well as China after the war. I have his discharge papers, but all they tell
me is dates of service, and where he enlisted and got discharged. Is there
still a way to get a hold of his records? Someone told me that they may have
parished. Any help would be appreciated. I found a great web site on the
Sixth Marine division. They have a picture on there that I was happy that
included my Dad. It also has on there newsletters that have an account of
what it was like to be there. Jerry Varner
