Greetings;

I found a very old book on people who owned slaves and I
think the slaves names as well as the people who had them. I found it
in the basement of Salem County
court house of Salem, NJ. It is the court house where it's entrance is
on Market Street.
I went down in the basement where they keep all the old documents and
newspapers. It was locked
up in a cabinet. I had to ask them if they could open it for me. I
had a
chance to look at it. I want to say is was dated from the early 1800's
to 1860's but I could be
wrong. . I hope this helps.
