Elizabeth Merrick Campbell
Montgomery - Elizabeth Merrick Campbell, 93, died
Friday at her home on the Campbell Farm.

Born in Newark and raised on her parents' farm in
Farmingdale, she graduated from Freehold High School
in 1926 and attended Trenton Normal School.

She was a teacher with West Farms School in Howell
five years and taught more than 29 years at schools in
Hillsborough and Rocky Hill.

Mrs. Campbell was active with Griggstown Historical
Society and helped restore and preserve the family
cemetery, where she will be buried.

Sister of the late Roger Merrick, Martha Keymer and
Adrienne "Pete" Merrick, she is survived by her
husband of 67 years, Duncan; two sons, Duncan of
Tolland, Conn., and Douglas B. of Miles City, Mont.;
seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and
three nieces.

Funeral will be 1pm Tuesday at Reformed Church of
Griggstown, Canal Road.

Burial will be in Beekman Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 7 to 0 pm Monday at Mather-Hodle
Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Beekman Cemetery
Association, 212 Millstone River Road, Belle Mead, NJ
08502.
