I'm looking for any information on John M. Hutchinson and his family. I have John born Abt. 1810 in NJ and married Rebecca HANSELL 19 Oct 1834 in Hunterdon Co. We know his occupation was shoemaker before he and Rebecca came to Illinois about 1841. They had children William Henry, Virginia, James Llewellyn, Emma, and Anna May. Maybe these names will help in finding a connection to his New Jersey family. I believe that John's mother's name was Rachel. Rachel also had a daughter, Elizabeth, John's sister.
We know that Rebecca Hansell and her family were Quakers. I tend to believe that John's family was also Quaker. This is the direction I am following currently.
