I am searching for any info on Tunis Eycke II (Eich, Eick) b. Aft. 1767-
d.1830 and his family . Think that his name might actually have been
Anthony Tunis Eycke II (Eich, Eick). He married Susannah Taylor in 1804 and
they had 11 children. According to family info he had a daughter Jane
Eycke b.1810, who married Charles Green Waterhouse in Hunterdon Co. before
1831. Tunis also had a sister Sophia Eycke who married Hezekiah Waterhouse
in Kingwood, Hunterdon Co probably in the 1770's. All were from Kingwood
area. I have info that says his father was Tunis Eich and mother was
Catherine ? but cannot make connection so far. I know that his family was
from Holland and think name started out as Ten Eyck (or some version of
that) and somewhere along the line it changed to one of above names. I
would appreciate anything anyone can give me.
