We've come across a potential lead in our Manners brick wall, a
reference to "Askin and Eunice Manners" being the parents of my
g-g-grandfather. We know about Eunice, but this "Askin" is something
new. Eunice's maiden name was Manners - it is unlikely that there was an
Askin Manners. I suspect this person may be Mr. Askin - perhaps Samuel
Askin.

Is anyone aware of any Askin families in Hunterdon in the early to mid
19th century? The birthdates would probably be around 1820.
