My index to the 1860 does show a William Conner
in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon. It references
page 750 and ID # NJ24319596. Also in 1830,
1840, and 1850 as Kingwood, Hunterdon.

FYI, 1860 index also has name Wm. Conners in
Middlesex, Morris, Cumberland and Passaic Cos.
