Larry,

"History of Hunterdon & Somerset Counties, NJ" by J. P. Snell 1881 confirms that M. F. Warner served as pastor at the M. E. Church of Norton, Union Township, from 1875 to 1876. This church is still active, known locally as "Norton Church", but its formal name is "The North Hunterdon United Methodist Church". In fact, you can check out their website at the following URL:

I suggest that you call them (on a Sunday morning, of course!), and ask if they have a church historian. I would not be surprised if they do. Also, it's a shame that they did not post a picture of the church on the website. If you would like to have one, I could quite easily send you a digital photo.
