Dear Bob & List:

I have the name of Anna KAES' husband as Henry Peter DILTS. I do not
have verification of this name however. I have seen him referred to as
Henry DILTS, also as Peter DILTS, and as Henry Peter DILTS. I have his
death date listed as 1787 or 1788. Anna d. before 1754, so since her
husband outlived her for about 33 years, I assume that he was her only
husband.
According to "Our Ancestry in the Case, Fisher, Kuhl, Roelofson and
related families" compiled by Kenn STRYKER-RODDA, Anna KAES m. Henry
DILTS, and Anna d. before 1754 leaving sons, Philip & Hendrick. The
date of 1754 was when Anna's father Johan Philip KAES wrote his will
which provided for his wife Rachel (his 2nd wife Rachel HOUSEL), and the
children and grandchildren of former wife Anna Elizabeth: William KAES,
Eva Marya the wife of Paul KOUL, Frona Catharina, the wife of Henry
WINTER, Elizabeth the wife of Peter ALLER, and in the room of my
daughter Ann deed to her two children Philip & Hendrick DILTS - 170
acres of the present farm or plantation, to be conveyed within six weeks
of his death, and divided into five equal parts; the remaining part of
the plantation including dwelling hous (sic) and barn between the
children present and future of present wife Rachell: Hendrick, Peter,
Phillip, Catharina, but Rachell to have the use of it until the youngest
child is 14, but if she remarry for 5 years only; then the executors are
to sell the property and give shares to the children by Rachell when
they are 21 or marry; "brother" Peter YOUNG and son-in-law Peter ALLER,
and William Poppledorph, baker of NYC, to be executors. It was signed
in German script, Johan Pilipus KASE(?). The will was made in NYC 27
Nov 1754 and proved in Amwell 12 Feb 1756.

From this will it would seem to indicate that Anna left only two
children when she died, and thus the other children who were named in
Henry DILTS' will must have been by a subsequent wife.

I am sorry I can shed no light on William HOFFMAN.

Hope this information helps.
