Searching for any information on Maxwell D. CONOVER, b. 1836, the illegitimate son of Elizabeth DALRYMPLE and John CONOVER of Amwell Twp. (Elizabeth was the daughter of George DALRYMPLE and Anna MAXWELL.) In the 1850 Kingwood Twp census, Maxwell was enumerated in the household of Samuel ROBERSON and wife Sarah Ann (KING). Can find no marriage record for Elizabeth DALRYMPLE and John CONOVER, and no trace of their son Maxwell after 1850. Does anyone know what happened to any of these people????
