Mary Jane,
If I have this figured correctly, Bethlehem Twp. of that period, 1778-1789,
would have included what is today Bethlehem Twp, Union Twp and the Borough
of Bloomsbury. Also part of the Town of Clinton, as part of that came from
Union Twp.
It is on the northwest border of the county with Warren Co., located in the
center of that border. Bloomsbury is the largest town today. I don't know
what settlements existed in the late 1700s. If anyone knows of a map for
that time available on the interenet I'd love to have the link.
