Hi- This is in response to Mariett Pickell. I don't know about your
Wyckoffs, but I saw on a Hunterdon Co map some Wyckoffs living near the
"Headspring of Holland's Brook and a Corner of the Lotting Indian Purchase"
(reference- the Alexander Papers in NY HIST Soc_Box 36 (?_hard to
read)-1718.) In plots adjoining each other are Martin Wycoff, Jacobus Wyckoff
and Cornelius1786, Simon Wycoff. "Smith's Creek" runs through their lands.
Sorry- that's all I know. I only noted this because I believe that Wynea
Decker who m. a Wyckoff is related to my Peter Decker- REvol era. Janet
