The only mention of REEDS in Traditions of Our Hunterdon County by Laquear is
a short passage listing the men that passed time at the BRAY mansion. No
first name for him though.
The following BONHAM names are mentioned:
"In 1763 and how much earlier I know not, a URIAH BONHAM of Piscataqua, was
in this neighborhood as a school teacher. He married ANCHER, a daughter of
GEORGE FOX the elder. They had five children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. The
sons were AMOS and ZEDEDIAH. AMOS BONHAM married REBECCA, daughter of WILLIAM
RETTINGHOUSE. Of this union two children are living, one of them a WILLIAM
BONHAM of Rosemont, now 82 years of age . . . An only son of his, a young and
promising lawyer, died in Carlisle PA, a few years ago."
A REVEREND Mr. BONHAM of Kingwood is mentioned as the first Baptist preacher
for a church located on the corner of Main Street and the Somerville and New
Brunswick Road in Flemmington, NJ.
WILLIAM BONHAM born 1789 of Rosemont again is mentioned as a source of
"recollections."
Also among your surnames listed are: Captain AUGUSTINE HUNT, DR BENJAMIN
HUNT, Re. G.A. HUNT, Rev. H. HUNT, Dr. W. A. A. HUNT, and WILLIAM HUNT.
There is a place called Hunt's Mills.
AUSTIN GRAY RUNYON and JOHN RUNYON are mentioned. Let me know if any of these
Hunts and Runyons are people you want the information for.
