John,

Charles Gano was married to Salome Mettler. They are both buried in
Frenchtown Cemetery, Frenchtown, Hunterdon Co., NJ. According to those
records, Charles was b14 Aug 1800, died 23 June1871. Salome was b 8 May
1807, died 20 Dec 1870. Salome was the dtr of John Mettler and Elizabeth
Kels. Her parents were md 1 Jan 1800. I don't at this point, have
birth/death dates for John Mettler/Elizabeth Kels. According to my records
(Mettler is one of my research lines), John Mettler was the son of John
Mettler and Elizabetha Sinclair.
