Hello,

I have just joined this list and this is my first post.

I am looking for evidence and info about an ELIJAH HOUGHTON who married
SARAH JACKSON - both born perhaps the 1740's?. They had a son JOB
HOUGHTON who married LUCY SIMS. Sorry, I have no dates or exact
locations.

A few others of these families married UPDIKES. Elijah Houghton and wife
Sarah are both mentioned on page 240 of "The Op Dyck Genealogy" by C W
Opdyke (which I have). I have an Updike Genealogy website at Rootsweb
