Johann Paul KUHL (son of Leonhard KUHL & Anna Veronica STAADTS ... I have
more on the parents if interested) married Eva Maria KAES (daughter of
Johan Philip KAES & Anna Elizabtha JUNG). Johann Paul (or just Paul) was
born 24 Mar 1700 in Maxsain, Hessen Nassau, Prussia, confirmed in Maxsain
in 1717, died 1 May 1783 in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, and buried in
the Kuhl Burial Ground, Copper Hill, Amwell Twp. Johann Paul appears in
NJ records 8 Jul 1730 when he was naturalized as Paul KOLE. Children:
Phillip (b 19 Sep 1728 in Hunterdon Co, d 25 Mar 1795, mar Catharine Eva
HUMMER in 1755 in Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, moved to Va (later named WV)
in 1790), Wilhelm (mar Ester Maria ------ ... I have much more on this
family if interested ... this is my direct line), Christ (b 1735 in Amwell
Twp, d 22 Dec 1827 in Grandin, Hunterdon Co, mar first Ann FISHER in 1760,
second Phebe CHAMBERLAIN, lived in Amwell Twp), Paul (b 1742, d 26 Nov
1825, bur Larison's Corner Cem, Hunterdon Co, mar Anna DILTS, lived Amwell
Twp), Leonard (mar first Margaretha JUNG, second Catherine TRIMMER ... I
have more on this family), Elizabeth (d 1793-1825, mar Henry JUNG),
Frances (b 1740 in Amwell Twp, d 1830, bur Bethel Cem, Bethel Twp, Pa, mar
John FISHER about 1760), and Maria (d after 1825, mar Daniel FEIT (or
FITE) 6 Mar 1770).
