Hi Alice,

We have no definite connection for Elizabeth but strongly feel she was the daughter of Daniel Lanning Sr (son of Stephen Lanning Jr. and Elsie Reed) and Fanny Bainbridge Lanning. If this is correct, she also was known by the name Eliza. Her marriage to Isaiah/Isaac Probasco is recorded in Warren Co. marriages 1824-1855 as follows: Lanning, Eliza of Greenwich to Isaih Perbasco of Lebanon, Hunterdon Co. on 23 Feb. 1826 by T. Scereman JP A-6.

I have found the Lannings overwhelming in number and very confusing. This is an area I need to follow up on. I hope this answers your question. Let me know if this ties in.
