Gary,
Thanks for your inquiry in regards to Cornelius MYERS. We're in the
process of moving, so I haven't done much genealogy. We've made no
progress on Cornelius, but have found family for his wife Hannah FRENCH.
Her father was Jeremiah FRENCH, Pvt. NJ Rev War, b 12 June 1762, NJ.,
died 22 July 1834 of Cholera in Cincinnati, OH. Mother: Hannah Finch
WILLIAMS. Grandparents: John WILLIAMS and Hannah FINCH.
The 1850 Delaware Tsp census shows a John MIERS, age 66 who was a
farmer,

James MIERS, 37, blacksmith and

Cornelius MYERS, 44, farmer
as well as Parmer BRYANT, 42, cooper who was the husband of Elizabeth
MYERS. They are both buried in the Locktown Baptist Cemetery. We are
now trying to see if John could be the father of Cornelius.
Best regards, Paula
