You may be interested in "The Story of New Jersey's Civil Boundaries
1606-1968" by John Snyder. This book is available from Map and Publication
Sales in the NJ Department of Environmental Protection for $15.00. This
includes shipping. This is a hard cover book of 294 pages, and a supplement
for the period from 1968 to 1988. Additional information on ordering is at
