Hi, folks.....

In the period from 1893 - 1897, Capt. John Bellis gave his "Recollections of
Baptistown" which were published in the Hunterdon Independent.

These "Recollections" contain all sorts of family information. (It started
to remind me of the book of "Genesis"...remember all those "begats"?) It's
a little confusing to follow, so I created an index.

Of course, most of the names are Hunterdon County names, but many of those
folks married folks from Warren and Sussex Counties, or moved to those
counties, or moved "West".
