The recent messages concerning David Schomp and his affidavit concerning
Cornelius LaTourette reminds me that my great-great-grandmother's maiden
name was Caroline Schomp, or perhaps Rebecca Caroline Schomp, allegedly
born in Readington in 1801. She married John Cavanaugh, sheriff of
Hunterdon County. Does anyone know if David had a daughter or a niece named
Caroline or Rebecca Caroline?
