Thought this would interest our Wyckoff groups out there as well as our
LaTourettes. This is included in the declaration documents of Peter. I
believe he is trying to show that he is of little means at this point to try
to get the pension paid to him.

Deposition of Martin Wyckoff Jun. (Junior) in the matter of mortgage money
owed him by Peter LaTourette on behalf of Stout LaTourette and Cornelius
LaTourette.

" State of New Jersey Hunterdon County-
Be it remembered that on this thirty first day of October in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight, before me the subscriber
one of the justices of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared
Martin Wyckoff Junior of full age who being duly sworn according to law
______ and saith that the sum of two hundred dollars in a part payment of a
mortgage for two hundred and forty dollars given by Peter LaTourette to this
deponent, dated the first day of November, AD eighteen hundred and twenty
one; and that the further sum of one hundred and twenty one dollars is for a
certain not given by the said Peter LaTourette to this deponent which said
sums make together three hundred and twenty one dollars which said sum of
three hundred and twenty one dollars the said Peter LaTourette appropriated
to the payment of certain debts for which he ______ (stated?) security and
became liable to pay for his son Garret as this deponent verily believes;
and that the sum of eighty one dollars an seventy cents is for the accruing
on the said sum of three hundred and twenty one dollars, which is the whole
amount to four hundred and two dollars and seventy cents which said sum I
have ________ (received?) of Stout LaTourette and Cornelius LaTourette and
further this deponent saith not-
