Noah Sharp SCHUYLER,born 1852, Mountainville NJ, AKA "Quarter Inch
Schuyler", so called, because he operated a Saw Mill, and always cut 1/4th
inch larger than ordered, in order to be "Fair".
Noah was the son of Nathan and Elizabeth Tiger Schuyler, and according to
legend, and Chambers, "went west". Apparently as a young man....
Seeking any information, because he was never heard from again by the
family... Indications were that he probably accompanied relatives, Tiger,
Hoffman, Philhower,and/or Schuyler to Clermont Co., Oh., or to Grant,
Hamilton, or Madison Counties in Indiana...
Any help appreciated..
Thanks,
Dick Carter
