I was just in Flemington yesterday at the historical library. Basically,
there is not many records on my husband's Young/Jung and Wagoner families.
There is a well known Young family founded by Peter, that is NOT the Youngs I
am researching. This family favored the name Abraham. The Youngs were
members of the German Reformed Church which is now Presbyterian. I visited
the graves of Adam Young and his 2nd wife Maria Brokaw. Interestingly,
Maria's ancestors are my mother's ancestors.(along with Tom Brokaw).

The Youngs:
1) Abraham YOUNG m. Gertrout Catherine maybe around 1730 in Alexandria,
Hunterdon, NJ
Children: Abraham, John Michael, John Engel and William

2) Abraham YOUNG m. 1755 in Alexandria, Anna Veronica WAGNER b. abt 1735
Children: Jacob; Paul b. abt 1760; Maria Elizabeth 1763 ; Abraham b 1766;
Adam b1769; Peter b 1769; Magdalena b 1771; Sarah

3) Adam YOUNG m 1st Anna Margaret (mother of all children) abt 1784; 2nd
Maria Brokaw 1802
Children: Abraham b1785; Jacob b1787; Anna b.1789; John P. b.1790; Sarah
b.1795; Maria b. 1796; Daniel b1793

4) Abraham YOUNG left for Union Co, PA around 1805 m. Catherine
Children assuming all born in PA: Elizabeth; Jacob b. 1807; Samuel b 1812;
David b. 1817; Sarah Jane b 1819; Mary b. 1820; Leah b1821; Abraham b.1824;
Levi b. 1826; Solomon b 1828; Susan b.1830

Does this family look familiar to anyone?
