The only Reuben LAKE that I know of in Hunterdon Co around that time was
the assumed son of John LAKE who died intestate in Alexandria Twp in 1808.
John LAKE's inventory was taken 29 Apr 1808 and filed 4 May 1808. I'm
afraid I don't know anything else about Reuben LAKE. You might want to
contact Jay Wright <>. He did extensive
research into Zenas LAKE, another assumed son of this John LAKE.
By the way, Zenas LAKE was living in Alexandria Twp in 1803.

I'm afraid I don't know. Jay may know.

Maybe there's something at http://melake.erols.com/lookups.html that can
help you.
