Hi Bill:
Thanks for your input on this. The preface of this book indicated that
"after 1795 all records of marriages were to be filed in the Clerk's office
of the county wherein marriages were solemnized," but....we all know that
this was probably not always done.
So I agree the marriage could have been held in Hunterdon and just not
registered with the County Clerk.
