Hi John, You Wrote:
Bill,
Thank you for your geneous offer to do lookups on Hunterdon marriages. If you would be so kind, I have Abraham Ten Eyck and Catherine Dennis Cock m. about 1818 or any of their sons, Abraham, John or Henry. Please and thanks, John B. Ten Eyck
RESPONSE:
John,
I am working with the Hunterdon Gazette which was first published in 1825. I have completed up through 1836 and those are the only years that I am able to search to date.
The following names associated with "TEN EYCK" are in the Index for these years:
Tobias TEN EICK; Abraham TEN EYCK [EYCKE]; Cornelius TEN EYCK [EYCKE]; Peter TEN EYCK [ EYCKE]; Andrew TEN EYCK; Corneliius A. TEN EYCK [EYCKE]; Frederick TEN EYCK; Jacob I. TEN EYCK; John C. TEN EYCK; Tunis I. TEN EYCK; Abraham A. TEN EYCKE; Jeremiah TEN EYCKE; Jeremiah F. TEN EYCKE; and William TEN EYCKE.
I checked the article for Abraham and he was mentioned in an advertisement for a sale of property as having land adjacent to the sale property which was listed as near White House. John C. was noted to have a letter at the post office in White House.
Regards, Bill
