I found the information in this paragraph yesterday while at a Mormon History Center Library: "Wintersteen, Jacobus, Capt. Jacob Ten Eyck's company". Does anyone have Jacobus in their family tree?

I think the last name could also be written "Winterstein" as I have a Jacobus in my family history who was from N.J..
