Thanks for your input. I have the marriage, will and inventory.
Guess I should have mentioned that. I have also seen the 1793 Militia
Census that mentions Abraham BRYAN as being from Lebanon Township, Essex.
This seems to go right along with the 1793 Essex Co tax list you
mentioned. This is very interesting, as I thought this may have been a
mistake. Does this mean that Lebanon Twp. was a part pf Essex Co. at one
time and I should search there for other information? Perhaps I'll have
some luck in finding Ann ROBERTS there as I've found no trace of her.
