My DILTS ancestry--all in Hunterdon Co.

Samuel Wilson DILTS (1809-1874) m Ethalinda HOLCOMBE (1816-1889) (dau of
George HOLCOMBE and Catherine BUTTERFOSS).

His father was George DILTS (31 Oct 1768-21 Oct 1853) and Mary KUHL (1 Feb
1771-9 Sep 1858). George's father was also a George (no dates) who possibly
married an Eleanor WILSON (WILLSON).
Etc.

RESPONSE:

David, I am indexing the Hunterdon Gazette which was published from 1825 to
1866. I have completed 1825 to 1836 and there are perhaps listings for 2
persons names George Dilts and one for a Samuel W. Dilts. If you live near
Flemington, the copy is available at the Hunterdon County Historical Society
Library. If not, let me know if your computer can read MSWord and I will
send copies of the Gazette items that contain information on these 2 names.
If you cannot read MSWord, I can send you "PDF" files which can be read by
Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free program you can get on the Internet.
