Regarding the Death Issue for 1834, I just did a quick search of the "Died"
Items in the Hunterdon Gazette for the year 1834. If they were able to
diagnosis cause of death with any degree of accuracy [not necessarily by
modern standards?] a number of infants and young children died of
"dysentery" during the year. A few old persons died of consumption
(tuberculosis).
