Hi Marshall,
Thanks for responding. Yes, its possible that Zacharaih was Dutch I was
hoping to get back one more generation before having to deal with Dutch
naming patterns. Its also possible that he was Swedish since there were
some early Swedes on the Delaware with the name Closon.
I don't know anything about your John Closen, I don't think Zachariah
had any sons but I don't know for sure. Its possible that your John was
related to Zachariah's brother William, I don't know anything about his
descendants. There were Closens jumping back and forth across the Delaware
River though.
I'll keep an eye out for your John.
