Hi List, Couple of curiousity questions.

I've found an ancestor in "Revolutionary Census of New Jersey" by Ken
Stryker- Rodda. If one's name appears on the Tax Ratables List, would this
necessairly indicate property ownership? Could one have been leasing the
land?

Where do I look for property records for Alexandria Twp. in the mid to late
1700's and early 1800's?

Is there a list of West Jersey Society owners? Who they sold land too? Would
it be in Burlington, or Hunterdon?

Was Alexandria Twp. ever a part of Bethlehem Twp.? Have the borders changed
between the 2 townships?
