There were 4 regiments to the Hunterdon County Militia. The best place to begin your search is in Stryker's, which can be extracted on http://www.geocities.com/dane97520/StrykerIndex.html but this on-line list only has those people specifically mentioned by Stryker as coming from Hunterdon or Somerset.
The other place to go is to the NJ State Archives. Once there, you can perform searches (by name) on different indices.
There are no good lists aside from these sources. A lot of records have been lost or destroyed over the years.
Have you looked to see if your person ever filed a pension with the government? This would probably give you the most information.
Good luck.

I am RESEARCHING the HUNTERDON COUNTY 2nd REGIMENT. I would greatly appreciate records from any person with any knowledge regarding this regiment.

Hunterdon Co. Militia? Where is the list? Stryker has a John Hide listed
as a Wagoner in the Somerset Militia. I am confused. Any help appreciated.
