Good evening, to you all. I was a member of this List over one year ago so
I will list most of my research names for those of you who may be new. The
entire top 1/2 of my 15 generation pedigree chart are Hunterdon County
names so I probably connect with a number of you. Even though I have lived
away from the East for 40 years, my grade school and high school years were
in West Chester, PA, and we would visit my grandmother in Flemington, NJ.
Here are the names.
Kuhl, Chamberlain, Barber, Holcombe, Sutphin, Hortman, Quick, Hoppock,
Higgins, Wilson, Fisher, Prall, Stout, Hill, Young, Wilson, Groff, Baldwin,
Marshall, Gray, Skillman, Veghte, Fulper, Trimmer, Beekman, Harley, Kaes,
Jung, Britton, Woolsey, Youngblood, Emley, Atkinson, Phillips, Schenck, Smith

Now for a couple of specific requests for help.
1. Christeen Fulper married Samuel Groff in 1780. I think she was born in
1756. I know nothing about her family. Does anyone out there know of her?
2. Charity Hortman married James Stout Sutphin in 1796. Her parents were
John Hortman and Mary Fisher (dau of Christopher Fisher & Mary Young). I
know nothing about John Hortman's parents and siblings.
3. Elijah Wilson (b 1780) married Elizabeth Skillman in 1801. I know
nothing about Elijah's parents and siblings. Elizabeth's parents were John
Skillman and Mary Veghte.
4. Catharine Corle married Cornelius Hoppock. Cornelius was born in 1739
and is the son of Tunis Anthony Hoppock. It is Catharine and her family
that I need information on.
5. Alpheus Chamberlain is the son of Lewis Chamberlain/Sarah Fisher. He
was born in 1790 and married Catharine Young who died in 1853. It is
Catharine I am interested in learning about.
6. Henry Groff married Mary Gray in 1818. She died in 1863. It has been
suggested that Isaac Gray and Sarah Mattison were Mary's parents but I
would like some proof/dates/names of siblings to verify that information.

I hope to hear from someone and maybe we can help each other. Researchers
have been so good to me in the past three years and I would like to offer
help to others in return.

Good night, ginny kuhl knutsen
