Source: The History of Hunterdon and Somerset Counties by James P. Snell, page 687, in Bridgewater, Somerset County.
"A list of the men who served under Capt. Jacob Ten Eyck in the Revolutionary War at different times from 1775 - 1781. James Rightmer is listed. This is the only thing I could find on Rightmer and other spellings. I hope this helps. Marilyn
