Kimberly,
William Disher was located in Amwell Township, Hunterdon County,
1778-1780 according to the "Revolutionary Census of New Jersey - an index,
based on rateables, of the inhabitants of NJ during the period of the
Amercian Revolution." compiled by Kenn Stryker-Rodda, 1972. There is
nothing else other than the name, place and date. But it is a good clue. I
think Amwell Twp was what is now East and West Amwell Townships now, give or
take a few boundary changes, but this could be incorrect.
