Don't know if this will help you, but I am indexing the Hunterdon Gazette
which was published at Flemington, New Jersey from 1825 through 1866. We
have completed the years 1825 - 1837 and here are some names that might be
close to what you are looking for:

Swayze, Conrad
Swayze, Daniel

Swazy, Henry A.
Swearer, Abraham
Swearer, Jacob
Swearer, Peter
Swearer, Samuel
