Greetings,

Time to post an old query. I'm looking for information on the Harrington
family of Lebanon and Tewksbury TWPs. My GG GF Benjamin Harrington
(1828-1890) appears in these areas as if from thin air in about 1850. I know
his father's name was John and that a John Harrington old enough to be
Benjamin's father also lived in the Lebanon TWP area in 1870 and 1880. I
suspect that Benjamin had ties to the Harringtons of Passaic County (Pompton
and West Milford) who show up in the tax roles and census in the late 18th
and early 19th centuries. I also further suspect a mid 18th century
connection with the Harringtons of Rhode Island. Any subscribers to the list
researching the Harrington family?
